
- 1 1/2 ounce of Tequila
- 1/2 ounce of Triple Sec (we like Cointreau)
- 1 ounce of lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Rubarama
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Mix the Rubarama and Kosher salt together on a saucer or shallow plate. Run a lemon or lime wedge around the top of your glass, invert the glass, and immerse and spin the glass in the Rubarama mixture to rim the edge of the glass.
In a shaker or pitcher, mix together the tequila, triple sec, and fresh lime juice over ice. We like Siete Leguas Reposado, but just use your favorite tequila and don't skimp because the flavor does matter.
Add ice to the rimmed glass, strain mixture over ice, and add a dash of Rubarama to the top. Garnish with a lime wedge.
