- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Jack's Blend
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, over medium-high heat cook onions in 1 teaspoon of olive oil until translucent. Add in turkey and cook through. Be sure to cover with a splatter screen if using a skillet.
While the turkey is cooking, in a medium bowl stir together ketchup, Rubarama, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour contents over turkey and onions stir until evenly coated. Cover with splatter screen or Dutch oven cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
We suggest serving this in brioche rolls as the sweetness of the brioche is a nice foil to the gentle spice of the Jack's Blend. King's Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns are nice as well.
Add a little sharp cheddar cheese to make it even more delicious.
